Elena Mabanta (starting January 13, 2025)

Counselor in Training and Masters Student (Idaho State University, Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling)

I hope to be able to accompany you in your personal growth and healing as a counselor. I have always had a passion for helping those who have experienced mental health struggles to find their own paths towards meaning, healing, and wellness. I believe that there is always a way through difficulties through self-awareness, curiosity, and a willingness to apply insights in real-life situations. I have a passion for helping those who have experienced trauma and for helping those wanting to untangle life-issues that prevent personal growth. I would be honored to walk beside you in your journey towards the goals that you would like to see in your life and in your relationships.

Elena is currently a Counselor in Training in a Masters program at Idaho State University, specializing in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling working towards state licensure. Elena utilizes a Humanistic approach in counseling and incorporates Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Existentialist philosophies in her practice.
